Change is hard, I know from experience…
I had overcome adversity in my youth, and built a life that I thought was “perfect”. I had it all. A beautiful house, a wonderful husband, a successful career, and two beautiful children. But then, as it sometimes happens in life, everything fell apart. I got a divorce, and I became depressed about my current circumstances and anxious about the future. All of a sudden it seemed like I had nothing, and that led to weight gain and feelings of hopelessness. Luckily, at the darkest hour of my despair, I found a life coaching course. I signed up to “fix myself” but had no idea what to expect and wasn’t sure it would work.
Slowly but surely, week after week, the work I did in the course began to lift the clouds of my depression, change my perspective, and allow me to truly see myself. By the end of the course, I had completely transformed the way I felt about myself. I used the tools I learned to start building a new future, one that was better than anything I had previously thought possible.
I experienced the amazing effects of this work and knew that I had to help other women like me. I created Life With Jeezy to share my knowledge so that others who are experiencing a major life change can find ways to thrive.
